Breeding 'Flight View Cruising Million's sire Oliver HFD has a very strong topline with an outstanding long,continuous second thigh (gaskin). He jumps in fantastic manner,with a lot of scope and strong open backhand,after starting in the stallion competition, where Oliver hfd displayed a powerful jump and fine hindquarter technique. He is presently successful at ZZ 2 level dressage.
Oliver HFD received a very praiseworthy foal report from the KWPN inspectors,blood type,high legged, elastic foals with three good basic gaits ,he offspring are very promising and are described as elastic all-rounder's sport horses. 2008 Denver (Oliver x Ferro) (UK)WPN National Champion Dressage Foal in the United Kingdom. 2008 Denver HFD (Oliver x Drossan) Reserve Champion BEF National Jumping Foal Evaluations.
Oliver HFD ‘s sire Voltaire (originally called "Vertuoso") was by the influential Furioso II, a stallion whose offspring include over 200 state premium mares and at least 70 approved sons, who are stood across the world. Furioso II was full-brother to the French stallion Mexico (sire of Le Mexico, who has produced numerous Grand Prix show jumpers). Furioso II was also the sire of the Olympic gold medal winners Lutteur B and Pomone B.
Voltaire's dam, Gogo Moeve, was also the dam to such horses as Fandango R, PS Falkan and Petite Fleur. She was sired by the great Gotthard, a stallion who has made his mark in the Hanoverian breed. Gotthard is seen in the pedigree of such horses as Goldika, Goya, Queensway, Genius, Grundstein and Grannus. Gogo
Moeve's dam-sire was the Thoroughbred stallion More Magic, who also sired the 1980 Moscow Olympics dressage gold medalist, Mon Cherie, ridden by Elisabeth Theurer.
Flight View Cruising Million's grandsire Cruising was a world famous Irish Sport Horse Stallion and international showjumper who was ridden by Trevor Coyle during his long and outstanding showjumping career. Cruising was a consistent performer at the heights of international competition, winning Grand Prix classes at Aachen in 1999, Dortmund in 1998, Lucerne in 1998, San Marino in 1996, Wolfsburg in 1996 and the World Cup qualifiers at Millstreet and Geneva 1998. He was also a prolific team horse, winning Nations Cups in Dublin (1997), Rotterdam (1996), Calgary, Dublin, Aachen (all 1995) and Modena (1994).
Cruising’s pedigree is world-class.
He is by the Irish Draught stallion Sea Crest, a Grade A showjumper. Cruising’s dam, Mullacrew (ISH), was an international showjumper by the sire Nordlys (TB). The grey Irish Sport Horse stallion was considered one of the world’s most significant sires of the 21st century.
The stallion was for many years the predominant choice for many international breeders. Cruising sired champion progeny that have achieved some of the highest accolades in elite equestrian sport. Cruising is the only stallion in Ireland to have a 5* rating for his own showjumping performance and the performance of his offspring in both eventing and show jumping.
Cruising’s impact on the international circuit will be felt for many years to come due to the high profile progeny like Flexible (USEF horse of the Year 2012), Mr Medicott (USEA Horse of the Year 2012) and Mr.Cruise Control (who topped the British Eventing rankings for 2013).
